By accessing or using pdfslash, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
pdfslash provides browser-based PDF processing tools. All document processing occurs locally within your browser using WebAssembly. No PDF files are transmitted to our servers as part of the processing workflow.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree to use pdfslash only for lawful purposes. You are solely responsible for the content of documents you process. You must not use the Service to process documents containing illegal content or to infringe intellectual property rights.
4. Intellectual Property
The pdfslash name, logo, design system, and source code are the intellectual property of pdfslash and its creators. Documents you process remain your property — we make no claim to any content you process.
5. AI Features
The AI-powered features extract text from your document locally and transmit that extracted text to Anthropic for processing. By using AI features, you agree that extracted document text may be processed by Anthropic per their privacy policy. Do not use AI features with sensitive personal, financial, medical, or confidential documents.
6. Privacy
PDF files processed using standard tools are never transmitted to any server and remain entirely on your device. Please see our Privacy Guidelines for full details.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that output produced will be accurate or complete.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, pdfslash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
